description: Library is not only a problem of rooms and books, but also about library information system. One of them is book search system or OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog). For this era, all of the things can be done from everywhere and everytime. UIN Sunan Kalijaga already has a OPAC, but can only use in central library and not connected with faculty’s library yet.this research will build a data search of books that will connect between central library and saintek’s library using web-service.  This OPAC system use prototyping method, to development this system is based on prototype from stakeholder. This prototype was obtained from interview process with stakeholders. There are five steps in this prototyping method, that are communication, quick plan, quick design, prototype construction, and delivery and feedback. All these steps are done iterated to get approval by stakeholders.  The system has some features, that are library location filter and category of book type . The test result showed that this system has been successful, Based on result by sakeholder have gone through three steps of prototyping. It is also based on functionality and reusability testing by 30 respondents. The results showed 100% successful for functionality testing and 91.9% agree for reusability testing.
