This study aims to answer two questions: first, is there a difference in the level of student learning plateau in the implementation of Character Education Strengthening in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan and SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan, second What is the cause of student learning plateau in the implementation of Character Education Strengthening in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan and SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative research approach. The type of research used is a comparative. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the study showed that (1) there was no difference in the level of learning plateau that was significant between SD and SDIT students. It is proven by the kolmogorov value calculated as 0.132, while the Kolmogorov Smirnov value of the table with df: (?; n) is 0.426 and with a significant level of 0.994. Then the kolmogorov value is calculated = 0.132 with Sig> ? (sig. 0.994> 0.05) Sig value is greater than alpha. It can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the level of learning splateau between elementary and elementary school students. (2) factors causing student learning plateau are caused by several internal and external factors. The internal factors of learning plateau experienced by students are due to physical fatigue and mental fatigue resulting from dense school activities. Students get good rest periods and are less able to cope with the boredom they experience because plateau and fatigue appear on their own. Factors originating from outside that cause student plateau due to conditions and learning atmosphere that are less supportive, pass on the same routine activities every day and study in class for too long so students easily feel bored.
