Sri Sumarni, M.Pd abstract: Behavior is an action obtained from the input of the environment. A good environment will produce good behavior and vice versa a bad environment will produce bad behavior. In madrasas, behaviors that are not good and tend to lead to bullying behavior often occur. Bullying behavior in Madrasahs is indeed often done by several students, but the role of the teacher in overcoming it is still not optimal, so that the behavior can not be lost from the traditions and behavior of students in Madrasa. Therefore the response to bullying behavior by teachers is a necessity that must be done intensively and consequently. This study will to determine the types of bullying behavior and how the teacher's role in overcoming it. The study took place at MI Ma'arif Maesan, Lendah, Kulon Progo. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive, in the future researchers try to describe the various types of bullying behavior that occurs in MI Ma'arif Maesan and how the teacher's role in dealing with it. The types of data obtained by researchers are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained from observation and direct recording of events through observation, interviews, and documentation. While secondary data is data that already exists and has relevance to research problems obtained through literature. The results of this study indicate first, the types of bullying that occur at MI Ma'arif Maesan Lendah Kulon Progo consist of three forms, namely the first forms of physical bullying, verbal bullying and social bullying. The second result is the role of the teacher in overcoming bullying behavior is the teacher as a demonstrator,class manager, mediator and facilitator and the role of the teacher as an advisor.
