Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia, Yogyakarta branch in acquiring new customers. This is motivated by the growing by the number of insurance companies tha are growing and developing at the present time, due to life risks such as the financial crisis, natural disasters, increasing health and education costs, and the need for retirement. Insurance agents who have the task of being an intermediary between customers and companies to offer insurance products that are suitable for customers? needs. The results of the study indicate that the Yogyakarta branch of Allianz Life Indonesia Insurance Agency carries out interpersonal communication strategies that are in accordance with what was studied in this study. The communication strategy carried out comes from the training provided by the company and the expertise of insurance agents in establishing interpersonal communication relations themselves.
