Communication be an effective channel to interact between the member of community. This research is to analyzed how communcation groups in United Army chapter Yogyakarta (UA Yogyakarta) as groups of fans football club Manchester United in realizing loyalty members of the group. Manchester United is a proffesional football club based in Old Trafford, Manchester, who played in Premier League. UA Yogyakarta is a groups of fans club football Manchester United based in Yogyakarta. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative by gathered data through the interview and documentation then analized using Sendjaja?s theory about group communication, that is the function of social relationships, the function of education, the function persuasion, the function of problem solving and the function of therapy. To verify data validity using data source triangulation method. The results of this research stated that the function of group communication in UA Yogyakarta, have a good role in this group. Members of this group have the values to realize of loyalty against the group based on 6 aspects of loyalty. Aspects of the loyalty among them is devout on rules, responsibility, working together, sense of belonging, interperonal relations and like the work.
