"The research is aim to know the suitability between the android-based digital library\r\napplication STMIK AKAKOM Yogyakarta and the library user’s needs in\r\naccomplishing their academic task with Task Technology Fit (TTF) Model. The kind\r\nof this research is quantitative descriptive with the library users of STMIK\r\nAKAKOM Yogyakarta that use the android-based digital library as the subject of the\r\nresearch. The object of this research is the the suitability between technology and the\r\nacademic task of the library users. The data collecting technique of this reasearch are\r\nquestionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. The population of this\r\nresearch are the library members that use the android-based digital library in STMIK\r\nAKAKOM Yogyakarta. The researcher take the sample from the population based on\r\nthe slovin formula and obtain 95 samples from all of the library users. The sampling\r\ntechnique that is used is the sample random sampling. The variable of this research is\r\nsingle variable which is the suitability between the needs in completing libary user's\r\nacademic tasks and the android-based digital libary application STMIK AKAKOM\r\nYogyakarta using Task Technology Fit model in STMIK AKAKOM Yogyakarta\r\nLibrary. The evaluation of the suitability between the Task Technology Fit (TTF)\r\nmodel consists of five sub variable; they are Task characteristic, Particular system\r\nused department, Task Technology Fit, Utilization and Performance Impact. Based on\r\nthe data analysis result about the suitability between the android-based digital library\r\nand the accomplishing academic task of the library members in STMIK AKAKOM\r\nYogyakarta using Task Technology Fit model resulted the total average value is 3,07.\r\nBased on the interval scale that is used, the suitability between the android-based\r\ndigital library application and the accomplishing of library member's academic task in\r\nSTMIK AKAKOM Yogyakarta is categorized as good. Researcher suggest STMIK\r\nAKAKOM Yogyakarta to make more promotion about the android digital library\r\nSTMIK AKAKOM Yogyakarta to increase the literation skill of the library members."^^ .
