The process of the Arab diaspora was not only trading, yet to spread the Islamic teachings in Manado. This orientation of commerce and the religious preaching have implications for their role as ethnic traders who can give a contribution to Manado from 1888 to 1900 CE. The research is using economic approachment to analyze the phenomena of the diaspora process and the Arabs activity in Manado. In the practice of microeconomics, they can establish a business relationship and network in Manado through the trade commodity. The export and import of trade commodity by the Arab merchants increased in 1896 CE, through the coconut commodity. This research uses the historical methods that are heuristics, critics, interpretation, and historiography, which correlate to the theme. The result of this research is the Arab merchants did the diaspora and spread the Islamic teaching through the religious preaching from 1888 to 1900 CE. The commercial and the religious preaching was substantial in Manado, so they formed a religious relationship and network around 1888-1900 CE. In 1900 CE the commerce was increase, they establish the educational and cultural institutions in Manado. Furthermore, they became the capital land and landowner when the product commodity decreased in Manado around 1900 CE.
