The aim of the study was to find out the library anxiety that happened to students in the library, what were the causes, and how the efforts that could be done to reduce library anxiety This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Research informants were selected based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data from this study were interviews with informants. Secondary data in the form of documentation, journals and so on. Data analysis techniques in this study, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show that: 1). Library anxiety that occurs in students at the UNY Digital Library in the form of fear and confusion in terms of how to start doing activities, as well as how to search for subscription journals. 2). The factors that cause library anxiety in students are knowledge about the library (a lack of knowledge about the library) and how to start (how to begin). 3). The effort that can be done to reduce library anxiety is by providing channels, socialization from the library, making library profile videos, training accessing subscription journals. Based on the results of the study, there are several suggestions put forward: 1). There should be more flow in the information so that students can start activities correctly. 2). The profile video was displayed in the library so that students knew of the video. 3).
