N2  - This research aims to present a classification of verses of the Quran for geometrical optics based on 6236 verses of the Quran and by making the Nalar Ayat-Ayat Semesta by Agus Purwanto as a reference classification
This type of research is library research with the object is books on science and religion, commentaries, and physics books related to geometric optics. The approach used is qualitative descriptive analytical. Data of verses of the Quran were analyzed using the content analysis method by conducting a review of the interpretation of al-Misbah, Ibn Kathir's, and studies of science.
The result of this research is arranged to be seventeen verse that informs about geometrical optics which was divided into a discussion about light, reflection, refraction, refractive index size, and shadow. The seventeen verses of the Quran are chapter al-An'am (6): 1, al-An'am (6): 122, al-Furqan (25): 2, al-Furqan (25): 45-46, al-Furqan (25): 61, al-Insyiqaq (84): 16, al-Kahf (18): 17, al-Qamar (54): 49, an-Naba (78): 13, an-Nahl ( 16): 48, an-Nur (24): 39, an-Nur (24): 35, ar-Rad (13): 15, Maryam (19): 94, Nuh (71): 16, Yunus (10) : 5.
