"A high teacher workload is not accompanied by equal incentives,\r\nplus the lack of appreciation or recognition of teacher performance\r\nby the government can also have an impact on the well-being or\r\nhappiness felt by teachers. When the teacher is happy, he can\r\npenetrate into the soul of a child and always feel positive emotions\r\nso that they can have fun learning.This study aims to determine the\r\ncorrelation between positive thinking and gratitude towards\r\nhappiness in foundation teachers. In this study the subjects involved\r\nconsisted of 93 foundation teachers. While the data collection was\r\ncarried out with three measuring instruments consisting of\r\nhappiness scale, a gratitude scale, and positive thinking scale. The\r\nresults of this study show that there is a significant positive\r\ncorrelation between positive thinking and gratitude towards\r\nhappiness in foundation teachers, this is indicated by a regression\r\ncoefficient of 0.735 with P = 0.001. The higher the gratitude and\r\npositive thinking of foundation teachers, the higher the happiness\r\nthey have. Conversely, the lower the gratitude and positive thinking\r\nof foundation teachers, the lower the happiness they have. The\r\nresults also showed that there was a significant positive correlation\r\nbetween gratitude and happiness in foundation teachers, this was\r\nindicated by a regression coefficient of 0.690 with P = 0.000, and\r\nthere was a significant positive correlation between positive thinking\r\nwith happiness in foundation teachers, as indicated by the\r\nregression coefficient of 0.624 with P = 0.000. These results indicate\r\nthat all three hypotheses were accepted. The effective contribution of\r\nthe variable gratitude and positive thinking on happiness is 54%, it\r\ncan be interpreted that there are 46% the role of other factors on\r\nhappiness such as self-esteem, hope, trust, life values, and\r\npersonality."^^ .
