More than 132,7 million or more than 50% of Indonesian is active users in social media. Instagram with more 53 million users is one of the most popular social media. Lambe Turah become the popular account with more than 7 million followers. This gossip account inform hot news of artists or public figures. The aim of this research is studying the effect of Lambe Turah?s post to confidence of Pekalongan Students studying in Yogyakarta. The theory used in this research the Stimulus-Response Theory (1953) by Hovland, Janis and Kelley which is based on Behavioral Learning Theories discussing behavior change as a result of experience. This model is a relationship between stimulus and response or commonly known as S - R. The subject in this study is Pekalongan Students studying in Yogyakarta. Sampling technique used was random sampling and data collection applied a Likert scale and distributed online. The method of analysis used is a simple regression analysis with the results showed that there was a positive effect of the post of Lambe Turah Instagram account to the student confidence level in Pekalongan in Yogyakarta.
