Minimalist lifestyle activities and campaigns are values that need to be shared by anyone. The film "Minimalism - A Documentary About The Important Thing" was created as one of the movements and evidence to answer through a real experience how someone can escape the trappings of excessive lifestyle or consumerism. Minimalist lifestyle is applied as a way of life for the purpose of achieving happiness with the movement to reduce unnecessary items, focus on the things that are most important and essential.  This study aims to analyze how a minimalist lifestyle is displayed in a film, the object of this study is the video film Minimalism - A Documentary About The Important Thing. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The theory used is Tvzetan Todorov's narrative analysis theory.  The results of this study indicate that the minimalist lifestyle featured in the film Minimalism Minimalism - A Documentary About The Important Thing is Simple Living, Mindfulness and Spark Joy by Marie Kondo. The minimalist lifestyle that is displayed in this film through dialogue, behavior, living conditions or place settings that occur in this film.
