They considered that not speak in foreign language at the boarding school area is a unstidied thing. Giving socialization at the beginning is not enough to influence male students to obey discipline. One of way that Central Language Improvement teachers to cultivate discipline in male students is using persuasive communication. The purpose of this research is to know how persuasive communication is used by Central Language Improvement teacher in cultivating discipline. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The source data obtained from in-depth interviews, observation and documentation, and to test the validity of data using the source triangulation method. The results of this research indicate that the Central Language Improvement teacher use persuasive communication techniques in cultivating discipline in male students. The techniques are Association Techniques, Integration Techniques, Structural Techniques, Reward Techniques, and Red-Herring Techniques.
