The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of destination branding in the Nglinggo Tourism Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The theory used in this study is the destination branding stage by Morgan and Prichard and the development of destinations by charters and febricius. The results of this study, researchers found that the Nglinggo Tourism Village tourist destinations arrange and package the potential of natural and cultural resources in destination branding. Nglinggo Tourism Village destination branding is done by determining the potential, marketing strategies with segmentation, targeting, and positioning, promoting the use of effective and communicative media and in developing destinations, Nglinggo Tourism Village integrates local communities in synergy with the government and academics in implementing each tourism program. So that tourist destinations can advance and develop into leading tourism villages in Yogyakarta.
