The research period used is 5 days before the announcement and 5 days after the announcement. This type of research is event study. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) 70. Determination of the estimated return using the market adjusted model. Non parametric analysis test tool used to test the hypothesis in this study is the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) announcement of a decrease in interest rates does not affect the abnormal return, this is evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test with a significance level of 0.091 (0.091{\ensuremath{>}} 0.05) which means there is no difference in the average abnormal return which is significant between before and after the announcement of a rate cut. (2) announcement of a decrease in interest rates has no effect on trading volume activity, this is evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test with a significance level of 0.684 (0.684{\ensuremath{>}} 0.05) which means that there is no significant difference in average trading volume activity between before and after the announcement of a rate cut.} }
