"The background of this research is many teachers of Islam Culture History\r\nhave difficulties in motivating students to learn because Islam Culture History\r\nsubjects are considered boring subjects. Researchers conducted research at the\r\nIslam Religion College of (STAIYO) Wonosari who had used the Self Regulated\r\nLearning model, where students who had the lowest Islam Culture History scores\r\ncompared to other subjects became motivated to learn Islam Culture History\r\nusing the Self Regulated Learning learning model.\r\nThe type of research employ was field study that was qualitative in nature.\r\nThe subject of research consisted of Lecturer of Islam Culture History course and\r\nthe 4th semester students of Islam Religion Education Department who have\r\nreceived Islam Culture History course learning.\r\nThe results of research were as follows. (1) Self Regulated Learning helps\r\nstudents learning and understand the material delivered in the way they specify\r\nthemselves. Most respondents argued that Self Regulated Learning gives the\r\nstudents an opportunity of developing themselves through the strategy they choose\r\nthemselves. Self Regulated Learning also gives the students an opportunity of\r\nimproving their self confidence in the ability they have that is different between\r\none student and another. (2) The result of research showed that during the\r\nlecturing process, the students tend to be more enthusiastic and have substantial\r\nself confidence to deliver or to share any information they have with other\r\nstudents. The students’ comfort level is varying and affects the lecturing process\r\nconducted. When the students are given an opportunity of determining their own\r\nlearning strategy, they will have high comfort and self confidence psychically in\r\nthe activity implementation. It is because they feel being trusted as adult learners\r\nto determine and to develop the activity they will do in the learning process. (3)\r\nSelf regulated learning contributed to creating the students’ ability of planning\r\nand setting the learning target well. In addition, they have developed some\r\nstrategies related to the activity they will do, including the ones to deal with the\r\nunachieved target."^^ . "2019-05-02" . . . .
