Sembodo Ardi Widodo, M.Ag abstract: The background of this research is the learning of islamic education in improving students motivation is the less than optimal. This leads students’ boredom when learning process of the material PAI (Islamic education) takes place. This research is focused on the effectiveness of google classroom as an model in learning of PAI in improving students motivation at SMA Semesta BBS Semarang. The sub focus of this research consists of why the development of google classroom as an model in learning of PAI is conducted, the implementation and influence of google classroon in learning process of PAI in improving students motivation at SMA Semesta BBS Semarang. This research is included in field research. The object of this research is SMA Semesta BBS Semarang, while the subject is the Headmaster, Islamic education teacher, Accounting staff, and students of SMA Semesta BBS Semarang. This research conducts qualitative research since observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire (checklist) are implemented as data collection techniques. The data analysis used is tringulation of data in which the results of interview data collection techniques are validated by means of observational, documentation and questionnaire data.
