"This research is motivated by the phenomenon of violence that often occurs\r\nin the educational environment, which tends to position students as victims of this\r\nbehavior. The experience of students in the violent behavior they experience, both\r\nphysical, psychological, verbal and sexual abuse, has the potential to make\r\nstudents as perpetrators of violence in the future. The purpose of this study was to\r\nfind out and explain the implementation of ethnopedagogy management, which\r\nwas implemented by SMP Negeri l Kalasan in the child friendly school program.\r\nThis school policy is seen as an alternative solution, to prevent, minimize, and\r\nprotect students, from violent behavior in the educational environment, according\r\nto the local context of the school itself.\r\nThis type of research is descriptive qualitative analysis, using a\r\nphenomenological approach. In collecting data, the author uses three methods,\r\nnamely: (1) observation, (2) documentation, and (3) in-depth interviews. Data\r\nanalysis using data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman, which includes three\r\nactivities, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or\r\nverification. As for testing the credibility of the data, the author uses a data source\r\ntriangulation technique.\r\nThe results of this study show the following: First, the urgency of applying\r\nethnopedagogy management in the child friendly school program is to foster\r\nawareness of the importance of child-friendly programs in the educational\r\nenvironment, cultivate child-friendly behavior, increase active participation from\r\nschool stakeholders, and as part of follow-up on the education policy of the\r\nSpecial Region of Yogyakarta. Secondly, the implementation of ethnopedagogy\r\nmanagement in the child friendly school Program is carried out through four\r\nstages, namely: the preparation stage to identify the basic potential of the school,\r\nthe planning stage for compiling the school program in accordance with its basic\r\npotential, the implementation phase where the school implements the program\r\ncollectively, and the evaluation stage is the process of measuring the results of\r\nimplementation with the planned program planning. Third, the barriers to the\r\nimplementation of ethnopedagogy management in the child friendly school\r\nprogram, namely; the collector's school organization is not maximal, the school\r\nland is limited, the school funding system is lacking, cultural facilities in the\r\nschool environment are still limited, and the condition of the school environment\r\nis prone to traffic accidents. The challenges faced by the school are the\r\ngeographical location of schools located in developing regions, and the rise of Kpop\r\nculture that is popular among teenagers."^^ .
