%X The background of the problem is to talk about the problem of Education  which is reality in students who are far from good values for them. The purpose of  this study is (1) to find out how the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers  in increasing the value of personality and its impact on students, (2) to find out  how the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing social values  and their impact on students, (3) to know how problems occur in the field and the  solution. This research is a research (field research) that is research that conducts  direct research on the object of study, namely PAI teachers and school principals,  data collection is done by using the method of observation, interviews and  documentation.  The results showed that the efforts of PAI teachers in enhancing the  personality and social values of third grade (3) students of SMP Muhammadiyah  02 Yogyakarta. include 1). How are PAI teachers trying to improve personality  values and impact on third grade students of Muhammadiyah Middle School 02  Yogyakarta. The effort is that teachers as role models of Islamic Religious  Education teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Yogyakarta always give lessons in  the form of giving material such as greetings, praying in congregation and  increasing the value of noble morals for students in instilling personality and  social values for students. 2). How is the effort of PAI teachers in increasing  social values and the impact on third grade students (3) Muhammadiyah 02  Yogyakarta Middle School, while the efforts are like instilling cultural values of  greetings, queuing, joint life, and others. 3). How do problems occur in the field  and the solution. With various kinds of problems that exist in the field such as,  there are students who are naughty, do not even have a pattern of life for  togetherness, irregular to queue, unusual circumcision prayer Dhuha in  congregation, ah and others.
