        abstract = {Sekolah sebagai miniatur masyarakat yang di
dalamnya terdapat interaksi yang berbeda-beda antar
individu atau siswa, perbedaan interaksi antar siswa
menimbulkan terbentuknya geng-geng dikelas. Hal
ini dikarenakan adanya perbedaan tingkat
ketertarikan antar siswa dalam berinteraksi, hal ini
secara teori disebut dengan kohesivitas. Adapun
tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk:(1) mengetahui
tingkat kohesivtas sosial pada kelas laki-laki dan
kelas perempuan, (2) mengetahui tingkat kohesivtas
emosional pada kelas laki-laki dan kelas perempuan,
(3) mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kohesivitas sosial
dan kohesivitas emosional pada kelas laki-laki dan
kelas perempuan di kelas V SD Muhammadiyah
Karangbendo Yogyakarta.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif
yang bersifat komparatif dengan responden 27 orang
siswa laki-laki dan 27 orang siswa perempuan. Teori
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori

interest between students in interacting, this is
theoretically called cohesiveness. The purpose of
this study is to: (1) Determine the level of social
cohesiveness in the male and female classes, (2)
Find out the level of emotional cohesiveness in the
male and female classes, (3) Find out the differences
in the level of social cohesiveness and emotional
cohesiveness in the male and female classes in class
v sd muhammadiyah karangbendo yogyakarta.
This study uses a quantitative method that is
comparative with respondents 27 male students and
27 female students. The theory used in this research
is Robbins's cohesiveness theory.
T-test results obtained a tcount of social
cohesiveness of 10,580 and emotional cohesiveness
of 6,220 consulted with a ttable value of 2.704 at a
significance level of 1\% with dk 52 so that it can be
concluded that tcount is greater than ttable so that there
is a significant difference in social cohesiveness and
emotional cohesiveness between male and female classes in class V SD Muhammadiyah KarangBendo
Yogyakarta.}
