The role of the teacher in instilling the value of philanthropy can shape children into good personalities such as they become helpful, generous, or have social contributions. Thus, there are four main focuses in this study. Firstly, the study aims to find out the importance of embedding philanthropic values in early childhood through the storytelling method. Secondly, the study carries out to get the implementation of the embedding of philanthropic values in early childhood through the storytelling method. Thirdly, the study wants to determine the impact of the teacher's role in instilling the value of philanthropy in early childhood through the storytelling method. And fourthly, it intends to find out the inhibiting factors and supporting the role of the teacher in instilling the value of philanthropy in early childhood through the method of storytelling. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are the principal, educators and students. Data processing methods use data analysis techniques that are used in this study by using a one-flow Permendikbud analysis model namely the reduction, presentation and conclusion of data. Data validity test uses multiple source triangulation and multiple methods. The results of this study indicate that (1) the role of the teacher in educating and guiding children is an important thing in the formation of character and knowledge of what students learn. (2) Implementation of the teacher's role in instilling the value of children's philanthropy through 6 methods; they are the exemplary method, habituation, advice, attention and monitoring, rewards and punishment, telling stories. (3) The impact of the teacher's role in instilling the value of philanthropy, children prefer to help friends, like helping and willing to share. (4) Supporting factors in the implementation of philanthropic planting are conducive environment, the presence of a contact book and inhibitors in the implementation of philanthropic instilling are bad habits at home, educators’ factors and lack of teaching materials. %Z Dr. Ichsan, M.Pd,
