Nevertheless, the field facts showed that teachers did not have much reference related to early childhood sex education. Therefore, the researcher developed an early childhood sex education module with the purposes: (1) knowing the steps of the ADDIE development model. (2) ascertaining the results of module eligibility as the teacher?s teaching material. (3) determining the effectiveness results of children in understanding early childhood sex education materials. The research method used is Research & Development with the one-group pretest-posttest design experimental approach, by using qualitative and quantitative data. The results of ADDIE?s model development measures are: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation were implemented properly according to their objectives. The module eligibility results as a result of teacher teaching materials are: (1) results of the design expert validation with the value of (3.06), which means that the modules are in a very valid category without revisions. (2) results of the material design validation with the value of (3.56), means the modules included in the very valid category without revisions. (3) results of the user experts validation with the value of (3.37), means the modules accommodate in the very valid category with no revisions. From the results of the three validation tests above, it can be concluded that the module is avowed to include in the very valid category without revision, and allowed to print in bulk. The results of the children?s effectiveness in understanding early childhood sex education materials are: (1) the value of pre-test results (39,21), indicates that children are included in the category of Undeveloped or have not been able to understand the early childhood sex education materials. (2) the value of post-test results (94,84), shows that children are included in a Well-Developed category or able to understand early childhood sex education materials. To sum up, it can be seen from the post-test that the ability of the children?s understanding of childhood sex education material is sharply increased after using the module.
