Focusing on two movies Ayat-\r\nAyat Cinta ( Indonesia ) and Mu’allaf 2( Malaysia) , from two countries in which the\r\nMuslim is dominant, the research finds out that representing of this kind of topic is not\r\nonly controversial but also unpopular since religious diversity is endorsed in most\r\ncountries in the world. The represented idea is mostly based on the dominant culture\r\npreferences which implies to the way how and why things are represented. In this sense,\r\nthose who control the production would eventually have a chance to present things on\r\nhis/his own and project its own way of seeing the world so that those who are\r\nsubordinated by it accepts it as ‘common sense’ and ‘natural’"^^ .
