abstract: This study aims to determine the economic empowerment activities in TBM Wijaya Kusuma and the role of community economic empowerment. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman data analysis namely, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study mentioned that the activities of economic empowerment in TBM Wijaya Kusuma are production, distribution and consumtion. (1) Wijaya Kusuma TBM production activities are making vegetable crisps, making dish soap / clothes, and skills from patchwork. (2) Distribution activities carried out by TBM Wijaya Kusuma are selling in markets, exhibitions and online. (3) Consumable activities carried out by TBM, namely processing used plastics into skills, as well as hydroponic growers by making use of narrow locations for self-cultivation. While the role of TBM Wijaya Kusuma in community economic empowerment, namely, improving accessibility by providing sources of knowledge that motivate the community through activities in TBM, institutional improvement by directing members to join relevant institutions that suit their abilities, and improving income by providing skills to members so can increase his family's income. From the results of the study the researchers suggested that TBM make conduct production activities continuously, product design updates that will be marketed, involving all the members not only the members of the terrestrial school in order to take advantage of the environment to increase income. It is necessary to have an evaluation of the school's skills to find out the results that have been obtained while participating in activities in TBM.
