The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with associative quantitative research. The subjects in this study were librarians in the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, while the object of research in this study was librarian interpersonal communication at the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Library. The population is active students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga as of 2019 and the sample obtained is 100 respondents using the Yammane formula. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The variable X interpersonal communication is the independent variable, while the Y variable is user satisfaction as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The measurement scale uses a Likert scale with four answer choices, namely Strongly Agree (SS), Agree (S), Disagree (TS) and Strongly Disagree (STS). Data analysis used the mean and Grand Mean formulas, as well as the SPSS version 26 for windows tool to analyze correlation and simple regression analysis. The library's assumption of less friendly librarians is in line with the evidence from the suggestion box descriptions. This contradicts the “A” accreditation which has been carried by the UIN Sunan Kaijaga library for two periods. The results showed that the Librarian Interpersonal Communication in the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta was included in the "Good" category from the results of the analysis of the mean and Grand Mean variables (X) of interpersonal communication of 2.98 in the interval 2.51 - 3.25. User satisfaction in the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is included in the "Good" category, from the results of the analysis of the mean and Grand Mean variables (Y), visitor satisfaction is 3.12 in the interval 2.51 - 3.25. The Influence between Librarian Interpersonal Communication on User Satisfaction at the Library of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic State University Yogyakarta has an influence of 0.792 which is included in the interval 0.60 - 0.799, which means the level of the relationship is "Strong". The calculation result of Simple Linear Regression with the equation Y = 5,968 + 0,462 X and R Square of 0.627 means that The Influence of Librarian Interpersonal Communication on User Satisfaction is 63%. It is necessary to maintain the "Very Good" category of Mindfulness indicators, and increase it for other indicators. It is necessary to improve the friendly and open attitude to users as a form of Meta-communication.
