One of the potential commodities that can be maximized to increase exports is clove. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian clove in the world market. In addition, this study aims to know the effect of competitiveness, population of the importer country, international clove prices, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of the importer country, and the exchange rate of the importer country to the demand of Indonesian clove on the world market. The data used in the study is panel data that is seven countries importers of Indonesian clove in the world market, such as Indian, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Uni Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Netherland in 2004 to 2018. This study uses the analysis Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and panel data regression analysis method. Based on the analysis of Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) Indonesian clove commodities have strong competitiveness in the world market. The result of the study with the panel data regression showed that the variable competitiveness and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of the importer country had a positive and significant effect to the demand of Indonesian clove in the world market. The variable international clove prices had a negative and significant effect to the demand of Indonesian clove in the world market. While the variable exchange rate and population of the importer country does not significantly affect to the demand of Indonesian clove in the world market.
