This study aims to analyze how the influence of Per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP per capita), number of customers, household floor area, and precipitation on electricity demand, and how to analyze the efficiency of electricity utilization in Indonesia. The data used in this study is panel data, namely electricity demand in each province in Indonesia for the period 2011 to 2017. This study uses panel data regression analysis tools, and the income elasticity equation as a method of calculating electrical energy elasticity. Based on the regression results, it was shown that only the precipitation variable did not significantly affect electricity demand, while the other three independent variables had a significant positive effect. Based on the calculation of energy elasticity, the utilization of electrical energy in Indonesia during 2011-2017 has an average value that is still inefficient.
