description: This study aims to empirically examine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership and capital structure against the dividend payout ratio (DPR).The denpendent variable in this study is the dividend payout ratio (DPR). Meanwhile, the independent  variables are managerial ownership, institutional ownership and capital structure. This study used a purposive sampling method to determine the research sample. There search sample consisted of 21 trading, service and investment companies listed in the Sharia Securities List (DES) 2014-2017. The data analysis method used in this research is panel data regression analysis.  The results showed that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, profitability, and liquidity simultaneously had a significant effect on the dividend payout ratio (DPR). Partially, managerial ownership and institutional ownership have no influence on the dividend payout ratio (DPR). Meanwhile, capital structure has a negative and significant effect on debt policy.
