abstract: This study aims to determine how the supporting facilities for archival service activities at the Archives and Library Service (DINARPUS) of Purworejo Regency are in accordance with the theory of success factors for archival service from Diah Ismiatun or not, by evaluating. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The object of his research is a means of supporting archive service activities including the availability of an archive reading room, a consultation room, an archive service staff room, a special cabinet (locker), an archive retrieval facility, a reference facility, a special reading room, an archive transit room as an archive storage, a reading aid. archives, archive security system. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the qualitative data analysis technique is carried out interactively and continues to completion, so that the data is saturated. The data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. Checking the validity of the data is done by testing credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. The results showed that the supporting facilities for archival service activities at the Archives and Library Service of Purworejo Regency were not in accordance with Diah Ismiatun's theory about the success factors of archive service. Of the ten supporting facilities for archive service activities, there are 4 appropriate points, including: 1.) Archive Reading Room, 2.) Archives Service Staff Room, 3.) Archive Retrieval Facility, 4.) Archive Transit Room. Whereas the indicator points for supporting facilities for archive services that are inappropriate include: 1.) Consultation Room, 2.) Special Wardrobe (Locker), 4.) Reference Facilities, 3.) Special Room for Reading, 5.) Aids to Read Archives, 6.) Archive Security System.
