%T Pergeseran Penafsiran Terhadap Teks-Teks Keagamaan Islam Tentang Gender
%X This study aims at identifying the alterration in interpreting the Islamic text of gender. The Data colleting method is library research and the data analyzing technique is hermenetic. The outcome of the study shows that the classical interpretation of religious texts of gender has altered, particularly by the assertion of the contemporary Moslem feminist musaffirs, resulting in the conviction that women are equal to men. The underlying reason of using the "gender analysis" is the conviction that Islam commits itself to justice. The inequality between men and women in different communities is not the nature of human being; rather, it is part if the socially constructed values resulted from the unequal gender relation
