This fact can also be found in various national newspapers (in this research Kompas and Republika). These ideologies become more viscous when faced with election and elections. One of them is the event of elections DKI Jakarta 2017. Regional elections attracted much attention of the people of Indonesia and lasted for two rounds. Candidates who successfully entered in the second round are Ahok-Djarot and Anies-Sandi. This research aims to determine the agenda setting of Kompas newspaper and Republika newspaper to the news of candidate pair of governor Ahok-Djarot and Anies-Sandi, during the second round of elections of DKI Jakarta 2017. The main theory used in this research is the agenda setting theory, and research method used is quantitative content analysis. The results of this study show that Kompas and Republika newspapers have different agenda in the second round of election of DKI Jakarta 2017.
