abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between the dependent variable in the
form of regulation with the independent variable in the form of self-efficacy. The
hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship among self-efficacy and
self-regulation of students who memorize the Al-Quran at the Tahfiz Quran lodge in
Solok. The interesting thing about this research is that the subjects have not been able
to regulate themselves well even though they have lived independently. This research
involved 128 students in the form of a person who lives in the boarding school tHIS
Quran Roiyatul Islam Solok. This research is a quantitative study that uses a scale as a
method of data collection. The scale used in this study is a scale of self-regulation and
self-efficacy with data analysis techniques using the Pearson product-moment. The
results of data analysis showed a significance value of 0.00 (p <0.05), thus the
hypothesis in this study was accepted. This research can be used as a reference for the
students to be able to organize themselves properly with confidence in themselves to
achieve something they want..
