National and regional contradictory online media in reporting the news, namely Tempo.co and Suara.jogja.id. This Study is analyze the framing of the news on the impact of the Corona virus in the tourism sector of the Special Region of Yogyakarta province on the online mdeia tempo.co dan Suara.jogja.id in the period 27 January-15 April 2020. This Study used a descriptive qualitative method using the framing analysis theory of Pan and Kosicki. This research focuses on the framing of news on the impact of the corona virus in the tourism sector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, published by online media Tempo.co and Suara.jogja.id. The news frameworks which this study analyzed are (a) syntactic structure, the way journalist organize the fact. (b) the structure of the script, the way journalist tell the fact. (c) thematic structure, how journalist write the fact. (d) restorative structure, how journalist supperss the fact The result of this study show that Tempo.co and Suara.jogja.id have a similar framing about the impact of the corona virus on the tourism sector in Yogyakarta, they both urge the public to adhere health protocols and regulations given by the goverment. But here the online media Tempo.co uses the frame of the Jogja is safe for visits, while Suara.jogja.id uses the frame of the jogja wich is already closed for visits. %Z Pembimbing: Fatma Dian Pratiwi, S.Sos.
