N2  - The news about the bribery case involving the Commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) was warmly reported in early 2020. The bribery case that started with the Commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) who was caught in the Hand Catch Operation (OTT) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) made this case getting wider. After Wahyu Setiawan was named as suspect, other allegations arose about the involvement of the PDI-P political party in this bribery case.
Media Detik.com and Tempo.co reported on the bribery case with different views. Started with publishing articles together on January 8, 2020, the two media outlets published articles that showed almost different sides. The focus of this research is to analyzed the differences between the two media using qualitative research and using framing analysis in it. then it can prove in detail that the two media are contradictory in discussing bribery cases.
The results of this study prove that there were differences in views and sides between the two media. Detik.com media tended to take sides with the PDIP political party by publishing articles that tended to be careful not to blame, while Tempo.co media positions itself as a neutral media but also didn?t side with the political parties involved in the bribery case.
