abstract: Pedukuhan Kadirojo II, Kelurahan Purwomartani is part of the Kalasan
Subdistrict, the intersecting sub-district Amongthe highest level of urban poverty
and is included in the districts that have the highest inequality in the Special
Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to describe economic empowerment
carried out by Amal Usaha Al-Amin as an effort to overcome poverty and
economic inequality that occurred in Kadirojo II Hamlet. As well as Analyzing
and describing factorswhich influenced the economic empowerment of Al-Amin's
Amal Usaha.
The type of research usedisfield research using a qualitative approach and
descriptive analysis report writing method. Subjects studied were Amal Usaha Al-
Amin, Kalasan District Sleman Regency. While the data collection techniques
used were interviews, observation, and documentation related to the economic
empowerment of the Amal Usaha Al-Amin. Then the data obtained was analyzed
by means of data reduction, presenting data, drawing conclusions and reporting
the results of research in full.
Economic empowerment by charity effortAl-Amin carried out self-help
empowerment in three ways. Firstly collect funds from people who have excess
assets as donator fisabilillah, secondly develop these funds in the form of
businesses, thirdly channel business profits to add jobs (create new businesses)
and help the poor. The driving factors (1) there are many donator fisabilillah, (2)
the management of Amal Usaha Al-Amin has an honest nature, (3) closeness to
the Purwomartani Kelurahan government, (4) innovative. Inhibiting factors (1)
Amal Usaha Al-Amin is not yet incorporated, (2) management is less efficient, (3)
Amal Usaha Al-Amin is not yet well-known, (4) there is no special division in the
distribution of empowerment funds, (5) research and empowerment data not
available
