To maximize this, of course, it is necessary to know the factors that cause the problem of inequality in income distribution itself. In this study, the independent variables used were the Human Development Index, Provincial Minimum Wage, Open Unemployment Rate, Investment Realization, and Population Density Level. The variable that represents the inequality value of the income distribution itself is the Gini Ratio variable. The source of data taken in this study is data released by the National Statistics Agency in 2011-2019. The method used in data analysis is panel data regression which through the model specification test produces a random effect model so that the data processing method uses the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method. The results of the f-test agree on the simultaneous effect of the five independent variables on income inequality. The results of the t-test indicate that the variables that can affect the inequality of income distribution are the Human Development Index and Population Density Levels. %Z LAILATIS SYARIFAH, Lc., M.A.
