The technique of determination of the sample using the method of purposive sampling. The selection of the sample that has a registered 528 screening and has a data stream of financial reports according to a data ratio of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMES) Riau Islands Province. Data analysis is done with Microsft Excel 2013 and hypothetical testing in this study using Logistic Regression Analysis with the program E-Views 10 and the level of significance is 5% and SPSS 22 assistance.the result obtained (1) liquidity expressed by Current Ratio (CR) has a positive effect on the financial distress, (2) leverage expressed by Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) has a positive effect on the financial distress, (3) profitability expressed by Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive effect on the financial distress.
