        abstract = {The Lean Manufacturing approach is a continuous improvement effort in the
production process to identify the types and factors of waste occurrence by
minimizing waste so that the value stream is smooth so that production time is
more efficient. PT. Panarub Dwikarya is a company engaged in the fabrication of
sports shoes such as Specs, Mizuno and Adidas. The quality, quantity and speed
of production units play an important role in order to fulfill consumer demand.
Lead time, defects, motion and transportation constraints are mostly carried out in
the production process. This waste minimization is expected to increase the
efficiency of production time so that the products produced can be on time with
the right amount.
From the results of the study, it was found that the lead time was reduced from
1999.31 seconds to 1847.22 seconds or reduced by 152.09 seconds (about 7.6\%),
as well as the transportation time from 360.52 seconds to 281.32 or reduced to
79,2 seconds (about 21.96\%), as well as a reduction in the transportation distance
from 2441 cm to 658 cm or a decrease of 1783 cm (about 73.04\%). This is due to
a reduction in non-value added activities, re-layout of the work area with Blocplan
software, re-layout of work stations, and the addition of work operators.}
