This type of research uses descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is all members of the library in the Library and Archival Office of Kulon Progo Regency. Samples from this study used the Slovin formula so that 100 respondents were sampled using incidental sampling techniques. Data collection techniques use observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The research variables used are independent variables (effective communication librarians) and dependent variables (satisfaction of the library). The validity test uses the Product Moment correlation formula, while the reliability test uses the Alpha Cronbach formula. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of effective communication of librarians on the satisfaction of The Library and Archivist Office of Kulon Progo Regency, resulting in a correlation value of 0.737, with r table significance of 5% of 0.195. For the results of effective communication librarians in the Library and Archival Office kulon progo district belongs to the category both with a Grand Mean value of 4,054. As for the results of the satisfaction of the library in the Library and Archival Office kulon progo district belongs to the category of good with a value of Grand Mean of 3,995. This research is expected to provide input to librarians to improve the ability to communicate well in serving the participants in order to increase the satisfaction of the participants. %Z Pembimbing : Dr. Tafrikhuddin, S.
