The method that used by researcher in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. Testing the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory with three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study can be seen that the library of SMP Ekakapti Karangmojo Gunungkidul plays a very important role in supporting teaching and learning activities, in addition to providing textbooks, there are collections for students with special needs, namely braille books and thematic books for children with special needs, 15 minutes of literacy supported by a reading corner and accompanied by a special companion teacher and giving gifts, as well as the use of collections and reading rooms for learning resources and a place to unwind for students. Through these results, the library of SMP Ekakapti Karangmojo Gunungkidul plays an important role in teaching and learning activities, especially with the availability of a collection of learning books.} }
