The main ingredient of rice is rice plant. So that the production of rice plant in Indonesia is important for the national food security. The quality of rice production depends on many factors. Using productivity, labour and the size of harvest area, this study aims to show the determinant factor of rice production in East Java. This study used secondary data from BPS, with annual data 38 districts and cities in East Java from 2017-2019. The analysis used in this study is panel data regression with Commont Effect Model (CEM) as the best selection model. The result shows that independent variable simultaneously offected dependent variable. While partially productivity variable has no significant effect on rice production. And the others, size of harvest area and labor have significant effect on production rice in East Java.} }
