Manual transmission is a gear ratio transfer technology that is usually found in motorcycle types of CUB, Road Bike, CRUISER, OffRoad, and Sport. Along with the development of technology, computer systems are often integrated with everyday life. The use of microcontroller systems in the motorcycle transmission is predicted to grow because it is considered easier for people who have no or have disabilities, especially without legs. Therefore, researchers conducted tests to implement the microcontroller system in motorcycle transmissions. In this case, hand transmission system is applied to the motorcycle. This study used a prototype method conducted in the direct observation. The first stage of this research was to design tools and the performance flow of the transmission system and then directly test the motorbike.
