The principal is responsible for all matters in the institution under his control, in the management of the principal must be able to plan, organize, direct and exercise control with the aim of creating a quality educational institution. Therefore this study examines several focus problems, namely: 1) how the management of the principal in improving the quality of education in TK Negei 1 Suoh, West Lampung. 2) what strategies are used in improving the quality of education in TK Negeri 1 Suoh, West Lampung and 3) what is the solution for the principal to overcome obstacles in improving the quality of education in TK Negeri 1 Suoh, West Lampung. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data reduction, data presentation and verification and conclusion drawing. Technique of validity of data through three ways, through triangulation, peers and Member check. The results of the research that have been carried out, show that 1) principal management in improving the quality of education by planning, organizing, directing and controlling, in education quality management which includes the level of achievement of child development standards, content standards, process standards, assessment standards, teacher standards and education, standard of facilities and infrastructure, standard of management and standard of financing; 2) The strategy applied in improving the quality of education at TK Negeri 1 Suoh is through a strategy to improve the teaching ability of teachers by improving the quality and professionalism of teachers, empowering media and educational facilities by regularly supervising, establishing good cooperation with the community and applying discipline to teachers and students; 3) The principal makes a solution to face obstacles in improving the quality of education, including involving educators to attend seminars, training and workshops to improve the competence of educators, working with the community in the maintenance and care of APE, and dividing 2 sessions of the morning learning process at 07: 15- 9:30 am and noon 9:30 am-11:45pm to overcome class space limitations.
