Through Core Competencies, each subject is emphasized not only containing knowledge but also being a part of the attitude formation. The academic competencies are dynamic and developing, while the attitudinal competencies will continue to be attached and needed by the students. The subject of Islamic cultural history takes a place of a strategic position in developing and improving the spiritual and social attitudes of students when it is examined from the content of the material being taught, but in the school environment, it becomes a subject that is considered less fun for students. One of the reasons is that some teachers still use the conventional learning models in presenting the subject, even though the recommended approach is a scientific one. To overcome the problem is to integrate the scientific approach with the constructive-learning model so that it becomes a constructive-scientific learning model. The study aimed to find out: 1. The constructive-scientific learning model to improve the core competencies of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes in the subject 2. The application of the constructive-scientific learning model to improve the core competencies of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes in the subject; 3.The effectiveness of the constructive-scientific learning model to improve the core competencies of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes in the subject. 4.The students' responses to the constructive-scientific learning model to improve the core competencies of spiritual and social attitudes in the subject. The study used the research and development (R&D) method. The research steps referred to the Brog and Gall development procedure which consists of four stages, namely exploration, model development, model testing, and dissemination. The research subjects were students in class VII MTs Negeri 7 Sleman. The data were collected by interviewing, observing, documenting, collecting questionnaires, and collecting validation sheets. The results illustrated that the role of the teacher by using the right learning method made the students more active so that they could increase the competence of attitudes, knowledge and skills. Constructive-scientific learning model is not only effective in increasing the competence of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes of students, but also in increasing academic competence, it could be seen from the results of the posttest scores which were better than the results of the previous pretest scores. date: 2020-12-18 date_type: published pages: 300 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN thesis_type: masters thesis_name: other citation: Wahyudi, NIM.: 1620411052 (2020) PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONSTRUKTIVISTIK – SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI INTI RANAH SIKAP SPIRITUAL DAN SIKAP SOSIAL MATA PELAJARAN SKI KURIKULUM 2013.
