However, the world community is facing environmental problems. The presence of Environmental Education (PLH) carried out by the Children's Forest Program (CFP) has become a bargaining power for environmental saving programs. This study aims to see the suitability of the CFP concept with Adiwiyata, to see the implementation of PLH by CFP, and to see the implementation gap in the implementation of PLH at SD Islam Al Azhar 31 Yogyakarta. Descriptive research method with phenomenological qualitative design approach. The results showed: First, the suitability of the implementation of Environmental Education by the Children's Forest Program (CFP) with the Adiwiyata concept was formed in terms of; Policies, curriculum, participation, and infrastructure. Second, the implementation of PLH by CFP occurs in the learning process and its application in various activities. Third, the implementation gap occurs because; (1) communication has not been intensely developed due to the complexity of the activities carried out by the school, (2) the human resources of the CFP team are still lacking in mentoring personnel, (3) the disposition or character of the activity implementers (the CFP team and the teachers) is very good, providing an example for students towards environmental action, and (4) the intensity of empowerment and habit still needs to be improved.} }
