description: This Research discusses efforts to find the meaning of interpretative community-based media audience: a concept that emphasizes on collective interpretation and in the influence of socio-cultural context in interpretive strategy. This Research was aimed to describe the reception of audiens’s message from “Nanti Kita Cerita tentang Hari ini” @nkcthi’s account instagram. This Research used analysis reception of Stuart Hall’s encoding-decoding. The Study was qualitative and focused on the decoding of audience from perception, thought, and interpretation. The data obtained from in-dept interview with followers of @nkcthi. It was student of Salaman 01 Senior High School as informant of this Research. The informant was divided into Three meaning positions, these are Dominant Reading, Negotiated Reading, and Opposional Reading.  The result of this study showed the position of Informant. Most of them were in the dominant reading. This is caused by factors such as gender, experience and environment also influence the way informant gived the meaning. They felt have same thought about this account was relatable for the experience by looking from what their social media account posted. There was also informant in the negotiated reading, because they didn’t understand with sentence in post account of @nkcthi. The different position of Informant could happened because of experience and environment factor.
