N2  - This research is motivated by the fact that educational institutions in
Indonesia, especially schools, still face the problem of student characteristics.
One of the factors causing this problem is because educational institutions have
not fulfilled the maximum fulfillment of holistic teaching to students. Education in
Indonesia lost character values and still focused on mastering knowledge, one of
the impacts is students? skill can not develop well. Moreover, the dichotomy of
education is less able to provide a holistic understanding between science and
religion. Education should provide holistic enlightenment to students. 
The research was conducted with the type of field research, which explained
clearly about the implementation of integral holistic education based on the faith
values in SMP IT LHI Yogyakarta as the object of research. To find possibilities
that are not yet known and maybe multidimensional possibility, this study uses a
qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation,
interviews, and documentation analyzed by triangulation techniques.
The results of research found that the concept of integral holistic education
at SMP IT LHI Yogyakarta emphasizes on developing and maximizing the
potential of students in a natural, deep, comprehensive and balanced manner, and
does not separate between religion and science by emphasizing the seven
intelligences, which are all aspects of holistic education is based on the faith
value. The implementation of integral holistic education based on the faith value
at SMP IT LHI Yogyakarta can be seen in learning activity and school programs.
The learning activity develops 7M learning steps, while the school programs in
implementing holistic education are extracurricular activities, Habit Training,
Profession Internship, Safar Ma'al Quran, LHI Student Expo, Community Service,
Star of the week, Riyadhoh Quran, and Inspiring Journey. The achievement of
integral holistic education based on the faith value at SMP IT LHI Yogyakarta is
to bring back the the spiritual values in every component of learning and school
activities as an asset to increase the faith, science, and passion of students.
Learning acticities in this school still prioritizes spiritual values into the learning
material components and always connects with God in every school activities as
an effort to strengthen spirituality.
