abstract: Vocational High School (SMK) students are those who have career opportunities connected with being entrepreneurs, working or continuing to study at higher education. When the students start to study at XII grade, they are required to be able to determine and decide their future careers. In this decision making process, there are a number of factors that give influences. One of them is called peer support. This study discusses the relation of both peer support and career decision making of grade XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Pajangan. The purpose of this study was aimed to investigate the relation between peer support and career decision making of grade XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Pajangan. The subjects of this study were students of grade XII at SMK Negeri 1 Pajangan. The number of students participated in this study were 100 students using a career decision making scale and peer support as data collection techniques. From each measuring instrument of career decision making, the career decision making scale could obtain 0.762 of the reliability and peer support gained 0.778 a reliability. The sampling in this study used a random sampling method. The data analysis method used in this research is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the analysis from this study indicate that the variable supporting peers with career decision making has an r of 0.390 and a p value of 0,000 (p <0.05), the value of these results indicates that there is a significant positive relation between peer support and career decision making.
