Sri Sumarni,M.Pd. %T PENDEKATAN KOMPREHENSIF DALAM PENDIDIKAN AKHLAK PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 3 SMP DI INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC SECONDARY SCHOOL JAKARTA %X The International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta is a boarding school that provides general knowledge and religious knowledge by building an international education based on Al-Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. However, the International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta has a moral mission (akhlakul karimah) by using an approach which is supported by behavioristic theory (classical conditioning), Imam Al-Ghazals's exemplary theory, operant conditioning theory, and cognitive theory in moral education carried out in International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta. This study examines a comprehensive approach in the moral education of students at the International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta. This research involves; why IISS implements a comprehensive approach, how the results of moral education at IISS, and inhibiting and supporting factors in moral education at International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the methods in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The findings in this study indicate that the International Islamic Secondary School Jakarta uses a comprehensive humanist approach in terms of comprehensive methods, namely; (1) humanist inculcation or inculcation of moral values by habituating activities such as lectures or tausiah, 5s culture and habituation of school activities, (2) providing humane role models emphasized by exemplary teachers, teacher provides affection and teacher gives examples consistently or concretely, (3) schools that are equipped with school facilities, a humane environment, warning and educational sanctions for violations, and giving awards, (4) skills development. The results of moral education are honesty, respect (courtesy), generosity and istiqomah. In this case, there are supporting factors, namely teachers, student association, adequate facilities, and 5 pillars of the school curriculum.
