"The background of this research is to see the extent to which classroom\r\nteachers at the SD / MI level can improve their professional competence,\r\nespecially in the indicators of competency for continuous professional\r\ndevelopment, in the midst of technological developments and dynamic progress.\r\nThis research discusses the competence of continuous professional development\r\nof classroom teachers at MI Ma'arif Patalan as well as knowing what strategies\r\nhave been carried out to develop their sustainable professions. It is hoped that this\r\nresearch can become a means of developing theory and benchmarks for schools in\r\nseeing the extent to which teachers can develop their sustainable professions at MI\r\nMa'arif Patalan.\r\nThis research is a field work research with a qualitative approach.\r\nCollecting data in this study using observation, documentation, and interviews.\r\nData analysis used in this study was through data reduction, data display, and\r\nverification. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation.\r\nThe results of this study indicate that the class teachers at MI Ma'arif\r\nPatalan have reflected on performance, including conducting classroom action\r\nresearch and utilizing the results of these reflections in order to improve\r\ncontinuous professionalism, also do not shut themselves off from the current\r\nprogress of the times by learning from various sources. . This is because\r\nclassroom teachers implement the following strategies to improve professional\r\ncompetence: (1) participate in competency-based training, (2) participate in\r\ntraditional training courses and programs, (3) read and write journals or other\r\nscientific papers, ( 4) participate in scientific conferences or meetings, (5) attend\r\ngeneral lectures or scientific presentations, (6) research (especially classroom\r\naction research), (7) have internships for new teachers, (8) use media sources\r\nnews, and (9) actively participate in organizations / professional communities."^^ .
